Ms. Octavia Morse

My name is Octavia Morse . I'm elated to be your new Culinary/Home Economics teacher! I have lots of ideas and plans for us as we embark on this journey together!

 

I'm a mother of three beautiful little ladies ages two, four, and 12. I'm a graduate of Johnson and Wales University. I have a degree in Culinary Arts and Food Service Mgmt. I have been in the culinary industry for over 16 years working in various outlets such as Catering, Private Preschools, Four diamond hotels, Restaurants, even the world-renowned Masters Tournament. After becoming a mother to my oldest, I felt it was best to have a consistent schedule so I could be present for all the important moments as well as homeschool her. I decided to try something new and began to work at a national food chain specializing in Food Safety. After a few months, I fell in love with the company and was promoted to Executive Chef, the position I still hold today.

 

Thank you for reading about me. I am so excited to get to know all of you and the students. I pray that my class will expand your palette and love for new foods and crafts!
